ENTRANCE ANTIPHON
Blessed be the holy and indivisible Trinity,
creator and ruler of the universe,
who reigns in glory through all eternity.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
and the love of God,
and the communion of the Holy Spirit
be with you all.
And with your spirit.
Brethren (brothers and sisters), let us acknowledge our sins,
and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
You who came into the world to redeem us:
Kyrie eleison. Kyrie eleison.
You who continue to visit upon us the grace of your Spirit:
Kyrie eleison. Kyrie eleison.
You who will come again at the end of time in the splendour of your glory:
Kyrie eleison. Kyrie eleison.
May almighty God have mercy on us,
forgive us our sins,
and bring us to everlasting life.
Amen.

LITURGY OF THE WORD
FIRST READING
A reading from the Book of Genesis (Gen 18:1-10a)
In those days. The Lord appeared to Abraham by the Oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day. He lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, three men stood in front of him. When he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the earth, and said, ‘My lord, if I have found favour in your sight, do not pass by your servant. Let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree, while I fetch a morsel of bread, that you may refresh yourselves, and after that you may pass on – since you have come to your servant.’ So they said, ‘Do as you have said.’ And Abraham hastened into the tent to Sarah, and said, ‘Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes.’ And Abraham ran to the herd, and took a calf, tender and good, and gave it to the servant, who hastened to prepare it. Then he took curds, and milk, and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree while they ate. They said to him, ‘Where is Sarah your wife?’ And he said, ‘She is in the tent.’ The Lord said, ‘I will surely return to you in the spring, and Sarah your wife shall have a son.’
The Word of the Lord.
Thanks be to God.
PSALM
Psalm 104 (105)
R. The Lord is faithful to his word.
Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his presence continually!
Remember the wonderful works that he has done,
his miracles, and the judgements he uttered,
O offspring of Abraham, his servant,
sons of Jacob, his chosen ones! R.
He is the Lord our God;
his judgement are in all the earth.
He is mindful of his covenant forever,
of the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations,
the covenant which he made with Abraham,
his sworn promise to Isaac. R.
He led forth his people with joy,
his chosen ones with singing.
And he gave them the lands of the nations;
and they took possession of the fruit of the peoples’ toil,
to the end that they should keep his statutes
and observe his laws. R.
ùEPISTLE
A reading from the First Letter of St Paul to the Corinthians (1Cor 12:2-6)
My brothers, you know that when you were heathen, you were led astray to mute idols, however you may have been moved. Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God ever says, ‘Jesus be cursed!’ and no one can say, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ except by the Holy Spirit. Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of working, but it is the same God who inspires them all in every one.
The Word of the Lord.
Thanks be to God.
GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Alleluia
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit;
to the God who was, who is, and who is to come.
Alleluia
GOSPEL
The Lord be with you
And with your spirit.
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to St John (Jn 14:21-26)
Glory to you, O Lord.
In that time. The Lord Jesus said to his disciples: ‘He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me; and he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.’ Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, ‘Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?’ Jesus answered him, ‘If a man loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me does not keep my words; and the word which you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me. These things I have spoken to you, while I am still with you. But the Counsellor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.’
The Gospel of the Lord.
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
AFTER THE GOSPEL
Glory be to the Father who reigns above the heavens,
and to the Son who shares his sovereignty;
sing glory to the Holy Spirit, all you blessed of the Lord.
PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL

Lord, in your mercy
Hear our prayer
CONCLUSION OF THE LITURGY OF THE WORD
Lord God, mighty Father, look upon your servants gathered to worship your glory. Bless them and protect them in the name of your only-begotten Son and in the power of the Holy Spirit. May they ever find their greatest joy in the declaration of your praise. Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Let us offer each other the sign of peace.
THE LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST
O merciful God, accept this bread, that it may become the body of Christ your Son.
Amen.
O merciful God, accept this wine, that it may become the blood of Christ your Son.
Amen.
PROFESSION OF FAITH
I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified.
who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
PRAYER OVER THE GIFTS
We invoke your name, O Father, over the gifts we present to you. Consecrate them with your might and make of us a worthy sacrifice to your praise.
Amen.
PREFACE
The Lord be with you.
And with your spirit.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them up to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right and just.
It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation
Always and everywhere to give you thanks
Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God:
Who with your only Son and the Holy Spirit
Are one God and one Lord:
Not in the unity of one single person
But in a Threefold yet single being;
And that which by your revelation
We believe as touching your glory,
That too we believe without distinction
Of your Son and of the Holy Spirit.
In professing your true and eternal Godhead
Three distinct persons we adore,
Though one in being and equal in majesty.
Earth and heaven praise you,
Angels and archangels worship you
And all the saints acclaim you, as we acclaim:
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts.
Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna in the highest.
EUCHARISTIC PRAYER
You are indeed Holy, O Lord,
The fount of all holiness.
Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray,
by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall,
so that they may become for us
the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
At the time he was betrayed
And entered willingly into his Passion,
he took bread and, giving thanks, broke it,
and gave it to his disciples, saying:
Take this, all of you, and eat of it,
For this is my Body,
Which will be given up for you.
In a similar way, when supper was ended,
he took the chalice
and, once more giving thanks,
he gave it to his disciples, saying:
Take this, all of you, and drink from it,
for this is the chalice of my Blood,
the Blood of the new and eternal covenant,
Which will be poured out for you and for many
for the forgiveness of sins.
Do this in memory of me.
The mystery of faith.
We proclaim your Death, O Lord,
and profess your Resurrection
until you come again.
Therefore, as we celebrate
the memorial of his Death and Resurrection,
we offer you, Lord,
the Bread of life and the Chalice of salvation,
giving thanks that you have held us worthy
to be in your presence and minister to you.
Humbly we pray
that, partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ,
we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
Remember, Lord, your Church,
spread throughout the world,
and bring her to the fullness of charity,
together with Leo our Pope
and Mario our Bishop,
and all the clergy.
Remember also our brothers and sisters
who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
and all who have died in your mercy:
welcome them into the light of your face.
Have mercy on us all, we pray,
that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
with blessed Joseph, her Spouse
with the blessed Apostles,
and all the Saints who have pleased you throughout the ages,
we may merit to be coheirs to eternal life,
and may praise and glorify you
through your Son, Jesus Christ.
Through him, and with him, and in him,
O God, almighty Father,
In the unity of the Holy Spirit,
all glory and honour is yours,
Forever and ever
Amen.
THE COMMUNION RITE
BREAKING OF THE BREAD
O blessed Trinity, to you do we lift up our voices;
we bow and bend low in the presence of your majesty;
in you do we firmly believe:
increase our faith.
At the Saviour’s command
and formed by divine teaching,
we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil,
graciously grant peace in our days,
that, by the help of your mercy,
we may be always free from sin
and safe from all distress,
as we await the blessed hope
and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
For the kingdom,
the power and the glory are yours
now and for ever.
Lord Jesus Christ,
who said to your Apostles:
Peace I leave you, my peace I give you,
look not on our sins,
but on the faith of Your Church,
and graciously grant her peace and unity
in accordance with your will.
Who live and reign for ever and ever.
Amen.
The peace and communion of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
And with your spirit.
Behold the Lamb of God,
behold him who takes away the sins of the world.
Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.
Lord, I am not worthy
that you should enter under my roof,
but only say the word
and my soul shall be healed.
AT HOLY COMMUNION
This is the faith of the Church:
to believe in one God in three Persons
and to adore the blessed Trinity in one Godhead.
The Body of Christ.
Amen.
AFTER HOLY COMMUNION
Let us pray.
O Father, you have called us to participate in your banquet of grace. May our faith in the eternal and blessed Trinity and in the unity of your divine nature keep us in your grace all through our lives and at the hour of our death. Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
The Lord be with you.
And with your spirit.
Kyrie, eleison. Kyrie, eleison. Kyrie, eleison.
May almighty God bless you,
the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Amen
Go in peace.
In the name of Christ.
